What gets in the way for a bakery
“Are you open on Monday?”
A day off that moves, a summer closure, bank holidays: the question comes in by phone all week, and a customer facing a closed door rarely leaves a kind review.
Cake orders taken by phone
A strawberry cake for 12 scribbled on a scrap of paper during the morning rush, with no name and no allergies: that is where mistakes start.
Seasonal bakes go unseen
Hot cross buns, Christmas logs, Easter chocolates: you prepare them weeks ahead, but nobody knows until they walk past the window.
No time for a web project
Between the bakehouse and the counter, there is no time to manage an agency or learn a complicated tool.
How it works with Voxtya
- The site starts from your Google listing. Name, address, phone, hours, photos and reviews are imported at creation. Pick a design and your colours, then review.
- Hours and holidays always right. Change your hours in one tap from your phone. Before the holidays, a “Closed from … to …” banner shows at the top of the site and disappears on its own when you reopen.
- Your products, with allergens. Breads, pastries, cakes and specialities, with prices and allergens product by product. Seasonal bakes are added in a minute and removed just as fast.
- Orders arrive in writing. The “A special order?” form is included: type of order (custom, business, event), pick-up date, quantities, budget and up to 5 photos of the cake they like. Each request arrives by email and in your dashboard, with its status.
- Your Google reviews on show. The reviews section shows your Google reviews, with the source and sorting stated. To get more of them, the Review collection service adds a counter QR code and a prize wheel.

In practice
| What the customer looks for | Where they find it on your site |
|---|---|
| Are you open today? | Hours at the top, holiday banner |
| What is good here? | Products with prices, specialities, photo gallery |
| Any nuts in it? | Allergens shown product by product |
| A cake for Saturday? | Special order form, photos attached |
| Is it any good? | Google reviews, source and sorting stated |
Example: a cake order, from the website to pick-up
On a Tuesday evening, a customer is planning her daughter’s birthday. She finds your bakery on Google, opens the site, sees your cakes and fills in the form: “Strawberry cake for 10, pick-up Saturday 11am, no nuts”, with a photo of a cake she likes.
On Wednesday morning, the request is in your dashboard and your inbox, with her phone number. You call her to confirm the price, mark the request as “quote sent”, then “confirmed”. Nothing is written on a scrap of paper, and on Saturday everyone knows what is planned.
The site takes no paid orders and no online payments: orders are confirmed with you, just like at the counter.
