What gets in the way for a bar or café
Regulars who never leave a review
The morning coffee customer comes in every day but has never thought of writing a review. Yet regulars are the ones who describe your welcome best.
No email, no booking
In a bar, people walk in without booking and pay at the counter: you have neither their email nor their phone. The review request has to happen on the spot.
Saturday night reviews
Waiting at the bar, loud music, cocktail prices, being turned away at the door: complaints often arrive at night and stay unanswered for days.
Passing trade, sometimes from abroad
On a tourist street, part of the reviews come in another language. A reply in the customer’s language shows it was read.
How it works with Voxtya
- A QR code where customers wait. On every table, at the bar and in the bill holder: the card or stand from the print pack. Customers scan while waiting for a drink or the bill, land on your review page, then your Google listing.
- A prize wheel, if you like. After their review, your customers can try their luck: a coffee, a soft drink or money off a sharing board for next time. Nothing is guaranteed and the rating is never asked.
- AI-drafted replies. For each review, the AI drafts a reply that picks up what the customer wrote (the terrace, the cocktail, the wait), in French if the review is in French. Published on Google automatically or after you read it: your choice.
- Emails, when you have them. If you take bookings or private hire online with Voxtya, the review request is emailed the next day (delay adjustable). For a list of customers who agreed to your emails, a campaign with an unsubscribe link.

Café Lumière, a fictional café in Paris, is our demo: this is the page customers open when they scan the QR code on the table, with the button to Google.
In practice
| Review | Useful reply | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| “20 minutes for a drink at the bar” | Acknowledge the wait, say what changes at weekends | Blaming the crowd or the customer |
| “Cocktails too expensive” | Explain what goes into the glass, mention alcohol-free options or happy hour | Justifying every line of the menu |
| “Music far too loud” | Thank them, point to quieter hours or the terrace | A curt reply that ignores the point |
| “Super café, belle terrasse” | Thank them in French, invite them back | A copy-pasted “thanks” in English |
