What gets in the way for a hair salon
The phone rings mid-cut
Every “any room on Saturday?” call makes you put the scissors down. Clients who hit voicemail call the salon next door.
“How much is a balayage?”
Without a clear price list online, the question never stops, and a client who discovers the price at the till is an unhappy client.
Your work goes unseen
Your best colours stay on your phone, yet they are what convinces a new client.
A platform taking its cut
Booking platforms bring clients, but often charge a commission or promote other salons on your own page.
How it works with Voxtya
- Your Google listing as the starting point. At creation, Voxtya takes the salon name, address, hours, photos and Google reviews. All that is left is choosing a design in your colours.
- Your price list: services, times, prices. The “Services and prices” section lists your cuts, colours and treatments, split by women, men and children, with the time and price of each. Packages are spelled out.
- Online booking, no commission. With the Bookings service in appointment mode, clients choose a service, a stylist or “no preference”, then a free slot. They get a confirmation and a reminder the day before, with a link to cancel within the notice you set.
- Your work in a gallery. A photo gallery for your colours, cuts and the salon, updated from your phone (with the consent of the clients pictured).
- Weddings and special requests. The “Weddings, events, tailored services” form is included: date, number of people, service wanted. Your Google reviews also show on the site, with source and sorting stated.

Example: a full Saturday without picking up the phone
On a Thursday at 10pm, someone searches for a barber near them. They open your site, see the price list (men’s cut, 30 minutes, price shown), a few photos of fades and your reviews, then book Saturday 10:30am with “no preference”. You see it on Friday morning in your diary.
On Friday evening, they get the automatic reminder. If something comes up, they cancel through the link in the message, within the notice you set, and the slot frees up for someone else. You never picked up the phone.
