Google reviews for hotels: get more and reply to every one

A traveller compares your Google rating with the hotel next door before booking, often on a phone. Here is how an independent hotel gets regular Google reviews with Voxtya, and replies to each one without losing its nights to it.

What gets in the way for a hotel

Guests review you somewhere else

After a stay booked through an online agency, the guest gets that agency’s review request, not yours. Your Google listing, the one shown when people search your name, gets few recent reviews.

The right moment is check-out

At check-out the guest is still there and often happy. An hour later they are on the train and the hotel is already forgotten.

Replying in several languages

Part of your guests write in German, Italian or French. Replying in their language, in the house tone, takes time at the front desk.

Negative reviews on one specific point

Noise, breakfast, parking: a critical review read by hundreds of future guests deserves a factual reply that explains what was done.

How it works with Voxtya

  1. The QR code where guests wait. On the reception desk, in the in-room welcome book, on the bill handed over at check-out. It opens your own review page, which leads to your Google listing.
  2. The email the day after check-out. If your direct bookings go through Voxtya, the review request is emailed the day after the guest leaves (adjustable delay, can be switched off). For other guests, a campaign goes to the list you paste or import, with an unsubscribe link.
  3. A drafted reply for every review. The AI writes a reply in the review’s language and in the tone you chose (warm, understated, professional). You read it, edit if needed and paste it on Google.
  4. Track your rating over time. The dashboard shows new reviews, those waiting for a reply and how your rating evolves.

Hôtel Belvédère is our demo hotel: this is the page guests open when they scan the QR code. In the demo it points to Voxtya’s own Google listing.

How much is Google reviews software for a hotel?
Review collection is €29 a month (€23 billed annually). With Review replies, the bundle is €49 a month (€39 billed annually). 30-day trial.
Can I ask every guest, even those who booked through an agency?
Yes, at check-out with the QR code. By email you can only write to guests whose address you have and who have not objected; every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Does the AI reply in the guest’s language?
Yes, it drafts the reply in the review’s language. You approve it before pasting it on Google.
How do I reply to a review about noise or cleanliness?
Thank them, acknowledge the precise point, say what was done, invite them back. Our guide to replying to Google reviews has templates.
Do more Google reviews help direct bookings?
A solid rating and recent reviews reassure the traveller who finds you on Google. Add a booking link to the listing so they can book without an agency.
Can I offer something in exchange for a review?
Google forbids rewarding positive reviews. You can ask every guest for a review, with no condition on the rating; our wheel of fortune page explains the rules.
