What is the best scheduling software for a massage therapist?
Massage therapist, wellness practitioner, reflexologist, sound healer, day spa: your calendar does not have the same needs as a medical clinic or a hair salon. Sessions of different lengths, returning clients, last-minute cancellations to limit, and often clients who find you on Google Maps.
We compared 7 tools on what really matters: real price, free plan, commissions, reminders, online payment and Google reviews. Prices checked on the official websites, with their dates.

Your Google listing, reviews and website scored out of 100, with what to fix to be found.
1. Voxtya: the best pick for independent practitioners who want commission-free bookings and more Google reviews
Voxtya takes the angle of the practitioner clients find on Google: appointments are booked on your own page (or your Voxtya website), with no commission, a confirmation and a reminder the day before by email, cancel or reschedule by link, and a client list. The Review collection service can be added to get more Google reviews after each session. It is our tool, first on this list because it fits the most common case for an independent practitioner; the booking software for massage therapists page has the details.

How to choose massage scheduling software
- Where do your clients come from? If they find you on Google or by word of mouth, a direct, commission-free booking page is enough. If you rely on a marketplace to find them, accept its fees.
- Work out the commission on a typical month: 25% or 30% of a first €70 session is €17 to €21 per new client.
- Lengths and breaks: does it handle 30, 60 and 90-minute treatments, and buffer time between clients?
- Cancellations: a day-before reminder and a link to cancel or reschedule cut no-shows. An online deposit cuts them further, if you need one.
- Google reviews: asking for a review after a good session is the best way to climb on Google Maps.
Our method (and our bias)
Voxtya publishes this page and sits at the top of this list: we are not neutral, and we say so. We put it first for the most common case, the independent practitioner whose clients find them on Google. We only used public prices and features announced on official websites, dated, and for each tool we say when it is the best choice: for online payments, Fresha or Square do what Voxtya does not. The comparisons Voxtya vs Fresha, Voxtya vs Booksy and Voxtya vs Treatwell list the sources. Spotted a mistake? Write to us.
