Which salon booking software takes no commission?
“No commission” does not mean the same thing everywhere. Some tools never take anything on your bookings; others only charge on the new clients their app brings you. For a salon that already has its clientele and is found on Google, the difference soon adds up to hundreds a year.

How to choose salon booking software
- Where do your clients come from? Word of mouth, Google, Instagram: a commission-free calendar is enough. Starting with no clientele: a marketplace may be worth its commission while you build one.
- Work out the commission: 25% of an €80 colour is €20 per new client.
- Per-stylist pricing: some tools charge for each team member; count your team in a year’s time.
- Processing times and lengths: the tool must handle services of different lengths.
- Reminders and cancellations: a day-before reminder and a cancel link cut no-shows.
- Your clients stay yours: exportable client list, bookings on your page rather than in a third-party app.

Our method (and our bias)
Voxtya is first on this list because it is our tool: we are not neutral. For each tool we say when it is the best choice (checkout and payments, marketplace, free plan) and we only used dated public prices; when a company does not publish its prices, we say so rather than make them up.
