Appointment software for salons is usually a subscription, often per stylist, sometimes with a commission on new clients from a marketplace and SMS on top. With Voxtya: €29 a month for the whole salon, no commission and no per-stylist fee; €49 with your website.
Updated
| Item | How it is charged | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription | Per salon, or per stylist (calendar) | How much more when a new stylist joins? |
| Commission | On new clients from the marketplace, or on online payments | Are clients who book from my website or Google profile charged? |
| SMS reminders | Included, per message or in packs | How many reminders a month are included? |
| Add-ons | Till, website, loyalty scheme | What is really in the entry plan? |
Prices of the tools salons use most are checked and dated in our comparisons, for example Fresha, Treatwell or Booksy.
Add the subscription × 12, the per-stylist fee × number of stylists × 12, SMS and commissions over a normal year. Fictional example, redo it with your own figures: a salon with 3 stylists on a €30-per-stylist plan pays €90 a month, €1,080 a year, before SMS. At €29 a month per salon, the year costs €348, whether you are 1 or 6.
A marketplace can bring clients who did not know you: that is what its commission pays for. For your regulars, direct booking on your website and Google profile avoids paying for clients you already have.
With the website (€49 for both): a prices page, a “Meet the team” section with each person’s photo and role, and a “Book an appointment” button. Voxtya does not handle online payments or the till.
