A local business’s online reputation starts with its Google listing

For a restaurant, a salon or a tradesperson, online reputation is read in three seconds on Google: the star rating, the number of reviews, the date of the latest one and how the owner replies. That is often what decides between you and the place next door.

Reputation management software keeps those four things healthy without eating your evenings:

  • Regular reviews, not one wave every two years.
  • A reply to every review, positive or negative, in a consistent tone.
  • A clear view of your rating over time and against competitors.
  • An alert when something moves: a rating going down, a competitor overtaking you.

Negative reviews: what the software does, and what it does not

No honest software can make a genuine negative review disappear: Google only removes reviews that break its rules (fake reviews, hate speech, conflicts of interest). What Voxtya does:

  • A calm reply, ready to check: by default, 1 and 2-star reviews wait for your review, even in automatic mode.
  • More recent reviews: a harsh review weighs less when surrounded by recent reviews from real customers.
  • Help reporting a review that breaks Google’s rules, with the steps explained in our dedicated guide.

Be wary of offers promising to “remove negative reviews” or “guarantee 5 stars”: that goes against Google’s rules and consumer law.

Reputation agency or software?

An agency handles everything, on a quote, often for several hundred euros a month. Software like Voxtya does the repetitive work (asking for reviews, drafting replies, tracking competitors) and leaves you in control of what speaks for your business. For an independent business, that is usually enough: a few minutes a week to check and publish.

Frequently asked questions

What is online reputation management software?
A tool that helps a business monitor and improve what is said about it online. For a local business that mostly means: getting more Google reviews, replying to each one and tracking your rating against competitors.
How much is Voxtya’s reputation management software?
€29 a month per service (€23 billed annually). Review collection and Review replies together: €49 a month. With Visibility & insights, or all 6 services in the Suite: €119 a month. 30-day free trial.
Can Voxtya remove negative reviews?
No, and no serious tool can: only Google removes reviews that break its rules. Voxtya drafts a calm reply, helps you report a fake review and helps you get more reviews from real customers.
Which review platforms are covered?
Google directly (reviews, replies published on your listing). For Booking.com, Tripadvisor, TheFork or Facebook, you paste the review: the reply is drafted and you copy it onto the platform.
Can I track my competitors?
Yes, with the Visibility & insights service: 3 to 5 competitors tracked monthly (rating and number of reviews), alerts when one overtakes you or when your rating drops, and a monthly report with 3 actions.
Does it work for several locations?
Yes: each extra location is €39 a month, and its reviews arrive in the same place.
